A stormwater drainage permit has been applied for at the Midtown 1 site in Midtown Miami.
According to the August 20 filing with DERM, work is estimated to begin on November 1.
Eight interconnected gravity drainage wells are planned at the site.
The estimated drainage construction cost is listed at $265,455.
Midtown One Investments, LLC is listed as the applicant.
Midtown 1 is planned to rise 48 stories, or 610 feet above ground level and 623 feet above mean sea level, making it the tallest in the neighborhood.
The tower is planned to include:
- 329 residential units
- 16,457 square feet of full service restaurant
- 11,280 square feet of retail
- 498 parking spaces on five levels

Midtown 1 Investments, led by Terra and Lion Development Group, is the developer.
