And the Brickell streetscape hasn’t approved one bit.

B-but, they converted those crappy concrete pole streetlights from the 1960s to LED!

Brickell looks more incredible with new updated blocks forming literally by the day.

Miami Worldcenter will be the hot spot by then! And the two will be connected by a beautifully dense Downtown

The project that transformed Brickell forever.

Looks kinda like the Wiltshire Grand in LA during both buildings construction at this point

It put Brickell on the map, tbh. No one had even heard of Brickell before 2016 and of course the pandemic 4 years later increased it’s popularity.

No one ever heard of Brickell before 2016? Were you born after 2010?

Well I mean to people outside Florida

My first finance job was on Brickell in 1992. There were banks everywhere, office workers all day, but unless you lived in South Brickell, you went “home” after work.
Ten years after that, new apts by the hundreds were developed. Brickell on the River, Icon, Avenue, Axis, The Club, 500 Brickell, and more were all built by 2008.

Traveling around the world, even in 2008, people knew Brickell. I remember meeting a half a dozen people in Buenos Aires who owned Miami real estate in 2008, and they all probably had an account in a Brickell Avenue bank.

Hear me now and believe me later: Brickell City Center is the next Sunset Place. The fact that it doesn’t adhere to classic urban design principles with street facing storefronts, wide sidewalks, and a better mix of retail means it will be dated and declining in 10 years

Worldcenter will replace it

Brickell city is the next sunset place ? .I think you made that comment 3 times before. you can’t compare sunset place with Brickell city centre.Brickell city centre is more beautiful and upscale and is in a much better location and neighborhood than sunset place. This mall was a game changer for Brickell. Sunset place did nothing for south Miami

Actually, no, you can compare the two. Sunset Place is surrounded by South Miami, Coral Gables, and Pinecrest—every bit as upscale as Brickell. You must be new in town.

Apparently you haven’t been to New York City lately. There’s tons of skyscrapers u/c, including a couple of supertalls and many more to come.

Miami will overpass NYC with time but we are still far from it. Miami is a smaller NYC though in many ways so it’s the perfect sister city.
