‘Exceptional Response’: Already Nearly $500M In Contracts For New Brickell Tower

Swire Properties has announced that it is experiencing an “exceptional” sales response for its planned Brickell towers, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami.

Nearly $500 million in contracts were signed in the first 60 days of sales, out of nearly $1 billion in reservations, the developer said.

A 7,000-square-foot sales pavilion opened at the development site on September 26, designed to be “floating on water.”

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental will include two towers upon completion in 2029.

The South Tower will have 228 residences, with interiors by Tristan Auer.

The North Tower, with interiors by Laura Gonzalez, will feature the new North American flagship Mandarin Oriental hotel – with 121 rooms, a spa, and multiple restaurants – along with an additional 66 private residences and 28 hotel residences slated to be launched soon.

Prices start at $4.9 million.

Just goes to show that quality location and development will always have buyers; there is a lot of product on the market but the cream of the crop will always rise to the top

It seems like a top notch project. I’m wondering about the traffic issues coming out and getting into that island.

THIS is prime Brickell area location, NOT that crap out by I-95. And the market agrees with me.

Will this withstand a category 6 hurricane?

Dorian would have been that storm with 200 mph gusts if it didn’t stall over the bahamas.

Probably not. But once Related gets its money, it won’t care. And all these people are just buying a trophy property to come to Miami for Art Basel, NYE, one other weekend holiday in the winter and Formula 1.

I wish for a more unique design, Dubai-style but I still like it.

If it means less Arquitectonica boxes, who wouldn’t?
