Demolition Underway At Brickell Properties

Demolition is now underway at two small properties in Brickell currently housing multifamily buildings.

A video posted by Due Italiani a Miami shows demolition this morning at the first building, at 239 SW 12 Street.

Building department records show a demolition permit was also issued on the same day for another building directly behind it, at 250 SW 11 Street.

The properties are owned by Habitat Center, LLC and Habitat Center 2 LLC.

According to the website of developer Habitat Group, Millux I and Millux Place are planned on the properties, with a combined 114 lodging units.

I like that it’s not another high rise! Nice to have some variety

Very nice development for West Brickell!

We should call this Brickell Hills. Since it’s 15 feet higher and at the top point in Brickell.

I love all the charming, newly designed blocks popping up in this thriving Brickell enclave!

Love the size of these buildings. I encourage all kind of developments of this size in Little Havana and west of I95

With better architecture, I hope.

The most impactful transformations happen on this scale, and this will be an amazing upgrade for Brickell!

This part of Brickell is transforming—everything new, luxurious, and bespoke. From vegan markets to welcoming Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, plus a blend of French and Latin-inspired coffee shops and locally sourced goods that sustain the Miami community. I’m obsessed with this vibrant and exclusive enclave in Brickell.

Don’t get too carried away…..

This new building shares a property line with EXTRA SPACE STORAGE.

Extra Space Storage IS newer (2016), which means it isn’t going away anytime soon, but is not a luxurious self storage, or a bespoke self storage building.

Who doesn’t want a place to store your shoes when you’re on Holiday! We’re in a city, storage is valuable. I think I saw a spin studio there, looked cool, and that new little bakery, and the new two story coffee shop with the cowork space at Smart Brickell.

True. Storage is valuable!

As for the cat who said, “I’m obsessed with this vibrant and exclusive enclave in Brickell”.
In reality, there are zero Self Storage buildings on Brickell Avenue.
In fact, there are zero Self Storage buildings East of the Metrorail tracks.

You can find Self Storage in West Brickell, but it is hard to mistake the Extra Space Storage (which has no spinning studio, and is across the street from the water pumping plant) for “luxurious or bespoke”…you would have to be next level delusional.

ChatGPT IS getting better. It’s still obvious but less so than just a year ago.

The greatest luxury, darling, is a boutique building in Brickell. Absolutely nothing compares!

These blocks are brimming with luxury, but could use a few bookstores, artsy wine bars, and some dazzling illuminated palms to complete the vibe.

You should evict the garbage man across from the gas station on SW 2nd Ave (the new Park Avenue) and SW 12th Street, and open an artsy wine bar.

Take that, Delilah’s!!

WE NEED a ChatGPT Store!

We also need people who know how to use the tech, which takes a doctor degree for most complex commands.

Sorry, but the 100-year-old Craftsman this box is replacing would have been better if it was restored. The random planters splattered on the facade don’t help either.
