Miami-Dade has issued a total demolition permit for the Brickell Avenue site where the 1,049-foot Dolce&Gabbana Tower is planned.
A 7-story office building dating to 1972 with 53,000 square feet and one basement parking level is currently on the site.
Alpha Wrecking Group is listed as the contractor.
The new 90-story Dolce&Gabbana tower planned on the site recently completed administrative zoning review, and entered site plan review in August.
It will include 259 residential units, 102,805 square feet of commercial uses, and 273 parking spaces.
The developer closed on the purchase of the property earlier this year for $61m.
