Wynwood’s ‘Condo Quality’ Highley House Reaches Completion

A mixed-use complex in Wynwood called The Highley House has just opened, with robust demand for its luxury residential units being reported.

The Highley House includes two towers with 304 “condo quality” residences being offered for rent, 72,000 square feet of Class A office space, and 18,000 square feet of retail.

With apartment leasing now underway, developers say they are seeing robust demand, with an average of three new leases inked per day.

Amenities include a spa with a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge. There’s also a fitness center, yoga studio, game room, private dining and wine room, cinema and media lounge, podcast/creator studio, and a rooftop pool and lounge.

Museum quality artwork curated by the masterminds behind the Jorge M. Pérez Contemporary Art Collection is located throughout the property.

The development is named for Locke T. Highleyman, who was behind developments including Hibiscus and Palm Islands and the judge responsible for naming the area “Wyndwood” in 1917 (later streamlined to Wynwood).

Related Group and Rockpoint are the developers.

“This is our tribute to Wynwood and Downtown Miami,” said Jon Paul Pérez, President of Related.

How about just regular condos with no crazy amenities or luxury finishes? lower entry prices and lower HOAs..

I don’t understand why developers don’t build normal apartments for people with regular jobs. Everything has to be ultra luxury. Miami’s economy needs to be more than just social media influencers

not enough money for the developers but i def think there is a huge demand for that. Most people would be fine with parking and having a doorman.
