Groundbreaking Ceremony For 50-Story Brickell Tower

A groundbreaking ceremony took place this morning for the 50-story St. Regis Residences.

Developers Related Group and Integra Investments recently closed on $527 million in financing to build the luxury tower.

“The groundbreaking for The St. Regis Residences, Miami marks a pivotal step in bringing an unparalleled luxury experience to one of South Florida’s most dynamic urban neighborhoods,” said Nick Pérez, President of Related’s Condominium Division. “With each milestone, we’re transforming the Downtown Miami skyline, introducing a level of sophistication and service that only the St. Regis brand can deliver.”

The tower is being designed by the Robert A.M. Stern Architects, with interiors by Rockwell Group. It will rise 630 feet above ground and 639 feet above sea level.

The design drew inspiration from the elegant aesthetic of golden-age ocean liners at sea, merged with the modern allure of skyscrapers.

It will include 152 condos.

Coastal Construction is overseeing construction and completion is expected in 2027.

The Brickell skyline is getting better slowly but surely

I love this building , but I’d hate to look at the huge super wide 51 story wall immediately to its north .

Along with this tower, the Santa Maria is South Brickell’s best tower. Better to look at that than a blank wall with a crappy mural on an Arquitectonica box.

I still feel bad for the teachers union getting stiffed on the sale of this asset. CRAZY inside job.

Well then don’t, because the teachers’ union has been ripping off rank-and-file teachers, taxpayers, and parents and students for decades.

Infill project, no. Crown jewel of South Brickell, yes.

No, The Roads and both sides of Miami Avenue south the 15th Road stay single-family, except for 3rd Avenue which is the mid-rise corridor.
