The developers planning downtown Miami’s First and Fifth tower have submitted plans to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board.
Plans call for a complete restoration of the remaining portion of the historic Salvation Army Citadel building, while a later addition would be demolished.
According to an architectural narrative submitted by the architect, the “striking” new tower is being designed to resonate with the Citadel’s architectural heritage and the elegant nuances of Venetian Gothic style.
First and Fifth is planned to rise 45 stories, 517 feet and include:
- 526 residential units
- 6,638 square feet of commercial
- 161 parking spaces, in an ‘inviting, pedestrian friendly’ 5-level podium
A hearing before the Urban Development Review Board is scheduled for November 20.
ODP is the architect.
Oak Row Equities is the developer.
