Fence Permit Applied For At Worldcenter Site Where Two Towers Planned

A permit to install a fence at the Abbhi Capital site at Miami Worldcenter is now in review with Miami’s Building Department.

The permit was applied for on August 24. It lists an estimated construction cost of $11,500 for the fence.

In September 2023, plans were submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for two towers on the site.

According to that filing, two towers are proposed to rise 59 stories (643 feet above ground, or 655 feet above sea level) and 33 stories (453 feet above ground, or 465 feet above sea level).

The combined towers are planned to include:

  • 558 residential units (in the 59-story north tower)
  • 368,362 square feet of office (in the 33-story south tower)
  • 7,109 square foot ground floor restaurant
  • 1,319 vehicle parking spaces in an 11-story podium, partially lined with residential

Park West is going to be the core of Miami with all these great buildings, businesses and by being in the perfect strategic location close to transportation, parks, Miami Dade College, museums and entertainment venues. Plus the new bridge will become a true iconic new symbol of Miami.

Beautiful towers, and it’s something different from the typical white and glass towers of Miami.

I work for Equinox and I know for sure they are planning to open one location at Worldcenter, it will be the biggest in Miami, similar to the one in Hudson Yard. I don’t know the timeline yet but leadership is already in conversations with Worldcenter.

Dubai is a terrible place to live, that’s why they need to pay every influencer on planet Earth to advertise for the city.

I agree with you. It’s hideous, but perhaps the renderings are just odd.

Miami world center has been doing a great job with demanding covering of parking garages, but here they have failed. These cheap screenings ruin the aesthetic and human scale effect

Totally agreed. Same way flatiron in brickell ruined the human scale aesthetics of that Mary Brickell area. have you seen it at night?

The Flatiron podium has to be the biggest eye sore in miami-dade county relative to its prime location. That should have never been approved

They have balconies on the first floor on many sides of the building, the rest seem to be for commercial space. I love it.
