Hamilton House is now planned to rise 38 stories, rather than the 60 stories previously submitted to planners, according to a representative of developer Aimco.
The revised plans call for 114 luxury apartments and 7,000 square feet of waterfront restaurant upon completion.
Aimco is involved in planning multiple other towers on the same block, including One Edgewater and 3333 Biscayne. The developer also recently renovated the 276-unit The Hamilton across the street, where demand for apartments is said to have exceeded expectations.
