67-Story Brickell Towers ‘Fastest-Selling Residential Project In South Florida History’

The developer building the 67-story Mercedes Benz Places towers in Brickell is reporting strong sales.

Michael Stern of JDS Development Group told The Times that it was the “fastest-selling residential project in the history of south Florida.”

More than 50 nationalities are represented among the buyers, the report said.

The Mercedes Benz Places towers will include 791 residential units, along with office, hotel, retail, amenity space, and a new public park designed by Field Operations.

A foundation pour was completed in June, with vertical construction now underway.

JDS is also planning to begin construction on the 90-story Dolce&Gabbana supertall residential tower in Brickell.

You mean Frankenstein’s Monster, which was the original proposal and not this refined revision.

The building is ok, but 2nd avenue looks like a third world country street, no landscaping, with all the lines exposed

2nd Ave looks like a third world country? You’ve never been to a third world country

True. It’s the ugliest street, and “The Gallery” ‘s new completion adds to its lack of aesthetic appreciation. Why do developers think that a box should be painted grey with black accents when all you have a box? It makes no sense. Big stucco boxes should be painted a solid white so that they do not over offend

Actually, Gallery has turned into one of nicest corners in Brickell with all those lofted glass storefronts, green spaces, and lush landscaping.

Give it another year or two, and it’ll be Miamis nicest avenue. Looking more polished each day, with new stores, landscaping, lighting, stylized pavements, fountains, parks, roundabouts, crosswalks, digital kiosks, schools, etc. nice work all!

I like the design and how massive it is. It will definitely make a statement in the Miami skyline.

I want a Ferrari Tower and a Lambo Tower downtown! Those parking lots in front of the Arena could be perfect for that.

I heard they can’t build on those lots but not sure why, maybe because of the Freedom Tower.

That should be a civic park – not some tacky ode to automobiles

There’s a huge park right across the street 🤦‍♂️

A few huge parks, and this development is making them usable for more people with enhanced quality and features.

NYC is full of branded towers, Miami should have more.

Come on ! That’s a lot of puffing !!! Wasn’t Eleven mostly sold out after 48 hours in the market?! .. reason for which there’s now 3 eleven towers under construction .

Yeah, isn’t this an abject lie? Didn’t tons of building sell out in one day in the 2000s boom, and even some recently?

Not related, do anybody knows what’s going on with the Legacy Tower in the Miami World Center?

My favorite spot in Brickell— remember when it was a hidden gem? It’s such a uniquely stunning design too, with such healthy lifestyle amenities Brickell needs more like this area.

I love it. It somehow reminds me of the Mercedes Tower in NYC!

Wait, you mean Mercedes put their name on that splotchy-windowed mess? I suppose it goes to show, as they haven’t made a good car in the last fifteen years.
