424 Deeds Already Recorded At New 51-Story Downtown Miami ‘Vertical Neighborhood’

Buyers are quickly closing on their units at a newly opened 51-story tower in downtown Miami, according to county records.

Closings of condos at the tower began in late June (a single deed was recorded in May).

As of this morning, a total of 424 deeds have already hit county records, including 15 recorded yesterday alone.

The building includes the Gale Miami Hotel & Residences, along with offices and restaurant space.

Developer GFO Investments has already begun marketing for their next development, a 32-story tower called 14 ROC.

It looks like Downtown 6th is getting ready to break ground across the street. I saw some heavy equipment on the empty lot owned by Melo

lol, for people from out of state maybe.

Don’t blame you being broke on external factors. Always look within first.

Any idea on why nothing has been built to the lots across from this, around the Freedom Tower? Can they build there by being around the Freedom Tower?

They should put a low rise museum there!!

LOL, can’t tell if you’re trolling or serious. If serious, then seriously get your head checked.

The tower is supposed to be a museum, but MDC has let it fall apart.

I read once that they can’t build in those lots, which makes sense otherwise Miami Wordlcenter would have purchased them too. I just hope they get turned into something rather than parking, maybe a space for a streetmarket would be nice.

There’s literally a park across the street that can be utilized for a green market, and somewhere called Bayside MARKETplace.

Bayside Market is an open air mall, I believe here they were referring to a street market. Different things.

MDC is a slumlord who forgets they’re a college for McJob degrees, that’s why.

Vertical neighborhood?! Is that a new name to an existing tower? I’m getting confused . Is the nativo tower the same as the gale apartments ? Has it now been renamed vertical neighborhood ? What will next month’s name be?! lol

I love Miami so much more than NYC. Keep building!

Miami is growing beautifully but need more high paying jobs to come in and better public transportation to truly compete with NYC

Anonymous

There is no competition. NYC is dirty, rat infested, ridden with crime, etc. Miami is paradise in comparison.

Anon

There’s rats all over Miami and they are fishing bodies out of the bay weekly.

Anonymous

Maybe there are rats in your house, but in my 35 years of living in Miami I have never seen a rat.

Airbnb is a company that has a website.

If you mean, how many of the condominiums have unrestricted length of stays, and/or you want to know how many individual people will chose to rent their property for less than 30 night stays, you would have to ask the individual owners what they are choosing to do with their private property.

The entire city is a cheap rental unit. This isn’t normal or sustainable.

Anon

Yes that’s exactly what I’m asking since Miami apparently doesn’t have the market to build a single tower that doesn’t use the Air Bnb model
